Ali is Back...Big Gulps are Gone

Happy Friday, fellow Daily Shot-ers!

Ali's back and ready to chat!  A huge thank you to John for holding down the fort in her absence.

We suppose "Daily Shot" is an appropriate title for our show, given that's all the amount of soda New Yorkers are allowed now.  As of March 12th, 32 ounce "Big Gulp" sized soda cups will be banned in New York City courtesy of Mayor Bloomberg's new health initiative.  At least we can still enjoy mini-gulps...for now.

But if there's anyone who's been shying away from sugary drinks, it's Jessica Simpson.  After nearly losing all her baby weight from her recent pregnancy, she's been back in the media spotlight, but do we put too much pressure on women to slim down after pregnancy?  Ali weighs in.

And if you missed J. Simp on all the morning talk shows this week, perhaps it's because they were taking time out to honor the victims of September 11th, except for the Today Show, that is.  Reality TV star Kris Jenner is fuming over the network staying on her interview instead of cutting away to the national moment of silence on Tuesday morning.  Well, the camera's on Ali now, and she has some thoughts of her own on the matter.

Some people just want to keep the media out of their private lives completely.  That could explain why Kate Middleton is suing paparazzi over recent topless photos that were taken of her while she was on vacation.  Want some fresh opinion in the matter?  Ali bares all.
